Braden Stover To Perform At The WV Strawberry Fest

BUCKHANNON, W. Va. (May 7th, 2013) - Back in his native West Virginia after several months in Nashville, country recording artist Braden Stover is set to play the West Virginia Strawberry Festival during the festival's Street Party on Friday, May 17th at 9pm. This is the first of many dates Stover is scheduled to perform in the area throughout the summer. The Street Party will also include performances by Matt Enik, Big T, and Sebastian De La Cruz.

It's a performance welcomed by Stover, who has spent much of 2013 in Music City on media tours, writing new material, and recording his latest, yet-to-be-titled album - a follow-up to his self-titled EP released in June 2012.

"Performing live is one of the best parts of what I do," said Stover. "I love performing in my home state and connecting with the fans that have been following my entire career. There's nothing better."

Stover's other area dates include performances at the Lewis County, Louisa County, and Franklin-Southampton County Fairs. His self-titled EP is currently available on iTunes.

Matt Snook Honors Fallen On Workers Memorial Day

NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 27th, 2013) - Despite short notice, country recording artist and Missouri native Matt Snook found himself right where he was meant to be on Friday, April 26th - performing for the 2013 Workers' Memorial Day Event at The Builders’ Association Education and Training Center. Singing the Star Spangled Banner and originals Solid Ground and I Got Your Back, it quickly became apparent to Snook that this was no ordinary gig.

"I decided to sing Solid Ground in memory of those killed on the job, and I Got Your Back for hope and inspiration," said Snook. "After my performance, I talked to a gentleman that had lost his brother on the job. He told me hearing Solid Ground brought him peace... It's easy to forget the power music can have. Any time I get to experience the wonderful effect of music I feel blessed. It was an honor to be a part of this event."

The event also included speeches by The Builders' Association's President Don Greenwell, OSHA Region VII's Regional Administrator Chuck Adkins, and Greater Kansas City AFL-CIO's President Pat “Duke” Dujakovich.

Snook is gearing up for a rigorous summer tour schedule and recently released his latest studio album, Forget, which is now available on iTunes.

Chelsea Boyles Performs At Miners Memorial

DOLA, W. Va. (April 22nd, 2013) - After spending time in Nashville at work on her debut, yet-to-be-titled album, West Virginia recording artist Chelsea Boyles returned home to perform at the Dola Miners Memorial on Saturday, April 20th at 2pm. The event - a 50th anniversary tribute organized in remembrance of the Dola mining explosion that occurred on April 25th, 1963 and claimed 22 lives - included speeches by a representative of United States Senator Joe Manchin III, as well as by Al Cox, who was a reporter on the scene of the explosion just after it occurred. For her part, Boyles performed Faith Hill's There You'll Be.

But despite the obvious importance of the event, the performance was especially important to Boyles, whose relatives Harold and Glen Haught both perished in the '63 explosion.

"I'm very close to my grandmother, Judy Boyles - so it was an honor to perform in memory of her father and uncle," said Boyles. "Although I didn't know my great grandfather, I'm so glad I was asked to be a part of the event. The memorial is beautiful and a wonderful way for the town to pay tribute to the 22 men that lost their lives."

Boyles is set to return to Music City early next month to finish her album, which is due out later this summer.

Braden Stover Kicks Off Summer Tour With Telethon

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (April 22nd, 2013) - As he gets ready to kick off his multi-city summer tour, it comes as no surprise that National Youth Volunteer
of the Year (2011) and country recording artist Braden Stover would begin by doing what he does best - giving back - by performing at the Parent-Child Center Telethon on April 20th at the Valley mall Food Court. Broadcast live by NBC-WHAG in an effort to raise money for the Hagerstown Parent-Child Center, his performance included single We Were Just Too Scared, which tackles the subjects of abuse and bullying. Fellow country artist Jason Mitchell also headlined the event.

"The issues of abuse and neglect have unfortunately become prominent in our country," said Stover. "This event is bringing attention to those issues in a great way and I'm proud to be a part of that."

Stover is currently finishing work on his latest studio album - a follow up his self-titled EP released last summer, which is currently available on iTunes.

Matt Snook Performs At Cars 4 Heroes

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (April 19th, 2013) - Always eager to serve those that serve our country, recording artist Matt Snook lent his voice to the 6th Annual Cars 4 Heroes Golf Tournament at Dub's Dread Golf Club on Thursday, April 18th. The event, which raised money for veterans and their families, also gifted eight cars to needy military families. Snook kicked off the event by performing the Star Spangled Banner and, later, gave a post-tournament performance of new song I've Got Your Back.

"The idea that those that have so selflessly served our country could come home to hardship blows my mind," said Snook. "I'm always eager to help out both active military and our veterans any chance I get. What Cars 4 Heroes has done today is an incredible thing and I'm so proud to have been a part of it."

Taylor Made Tops Two Charts In Same Week

Taylor Made Kicks Off Spring With Concert

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (March 8th, 2013) - Despite the recent winter weather conditions in their home state of West Virginia, Little General Records recording trio Taylor Made celebrated the coming of spring in a big way - performing at the Charleston Municipal Auditorium's Spring Fling Concert on Saturday evening, April 6th. The concert, which also featured a performance by Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. (winner, America's Got Talent season six), raised money for both the Community Music Association and Junior Achievement of West Virginia.

"The Charleston Municipal Auditorium has always been one of our favorite venues to perform at... To do so with another accomplished West Virginia recording artist for the sake of two incredible organizations was such an honor," said Greg Duckworth of Taylor Made.

Taylor Made Heads Back To Hometown For Cause

GRAFTON, W. Va. (March 28th, 2013) - Recent recipients of the MusicRow Independent Artist of the Year Award and West Virginia natives, country recording trio Taylor Made headed back to their hometown of Grafton to perform at the Friends of McKinney Field Benefit on Wednesday, March 27th at the Grafton High School Auditorium. The fundraiser, organized to raise money for the McKinney Field Turf Project, also included a performance by band Shadrach.
